Language Elements (flags context menu)

 

  

 

In addition to parsing common regular expression constructs, the

RegexFormat engine will parse language specific forms as well.

Any combination of elements can be selected individually, or using

the built-in presets as a guide (suggestion).

 

On the bottom part of the context menu (Flags Pane) are the presets

 

Makes the User-Defined elements active and checked.

To save a user-defined flags state, select  the Save to User-Defined

menu item.

 

Makes the Built-in default elements active and checked.

 

Makes all elements available for selection.

Currently checked elements remain checked.

 

Makes Perl form elements active and checked

 

Makes PCRE form elements active and checked

 

Makes Dot-Net form elements active and checked

 

Makes Java 6 form elements active and checked

 

Makes Java 7 form elements active and checked

 

The built-in presets and/or custom settings allow easy creation of custom forms.

Note - The Language category can persist from document to document (see Flags Pane Locking).

 

 

Examples

 

  1. To set to a modified Dot-Net state:

 Select “Dot-Net” from the context menu (Image 1).

 Un-check 1 or more available elements (Image 1a).

 

  1. To set to a custom Dot-Net state:

 Select “Dot-Net” from the context menu (Image 1).

 Select “Custom” from the context menu (Image 1b).
